Statutes

RSMo. 376.696 - prohibits the governing body of any political subdivision from entering into a contract to purchase insurance unless the contract is submitted to competitive every; bidding at least six years. State statutes also require the contract to be awarded to the lowest and best bidder.

RSMo 67.150 - requires bidding for the purchase of health insurance every three years.

RSMo 49.292 - Rejection of transfer of real property by donation or dedication authorized, when--proof and acknowledgment required.

RSMo Chapter 88 - bidding requirements can be found throughout the chapter. They cover a wide variety of issues including sidewalks, streets, etc. As a general rule, if the work is done under special assessment, competitive bidding is required

RSMo. 105.462 and RSMo 105.458 -prohibits a city official from selling or providing services to the city in
excess of $500 per transaction or $5,000 in one year, unless public notice is given and bids are
submitted.

RSMo 8.679 - when in the discretion of the public owner, it is determined that a public works project should be performed with a negotiated contract for construction management services, such public owner shall advertise and solicit proposals from qualified construction managers.

RSMo 91.170 - waterworks erection/purchase of revenue bonds

RSMo 8.285 - 8. 291 Selection of architectural, engineering, and land surveying services unless the municipality adopts its own
policy.

RSMo 34.353- Political subdivisions to purchase or lease only goods or commodities produced in the United States, exceptions, procedure.
