The City of Kansas City will host a regional meeting of the Missouri Municipal League on Thursday, May 28, 2015. The meeting will be held at The American Jazz Museum, 1616 E. 18th Street, in Kansas City’s Historic Jazz District on 18th & Vine and the home of the NLBM-Negro Leagues baseball Museum. This event will provide an excellent opportunity for municipal officials to meet with their neighboring officials, find common cause and share an excellent meal.
Registration and social hour will begin at 6:00 p.m. The museum will be open early at 5 pm for attendees. The dinner will start at 7:00 p.m. The registration fee for the meeting (including the dinner) will be $30 per person (tax, gratuity, and admission into the museum included). The evening's speaker will be Richard Sheets, Deputy Director of the Missouri Municipal League, who will give a legislative update.
