MML Membership Information: Join Us!
The Missouri Municipal League is a wholly owned instrumentality of its member municipalities. Any incorporated municipality in the State of Missouri is eligible for membership in the League. Any other political subdivision or other public body similarly constituted, whose interests are compatible with those of the League and its member municipalities, may be eligible for Associate Member status.
*Associate members do not have voting privileges at League meetings and are not eligible for membership on the MML Board of Directors.
League membership currently includes 650+ municipalities (every city over 2,500 pop. is an MML member), 160 participating affiliates and 40 associate members!

HOW TO JOIN MML
MML has two membership categories to choose from and a Participating Affiliate status for organizations. Please review the categories below and click on the applicable application to join. If you have any questions, please call the League at (573) 635-9134.
MUNICIPAL MEMBER Download Membership Application or Fillable Membership Form.
This application is for any municipality that wants to join the Missouri Municipal League. Complete the application and email to [email protected]. Once the application has been approved, an invoice for the membership will be sent to the main contact, who is usually the Clerk. Note: Membership renewals are always billed each December - due by January 31 of the upcoming year.
Dues Fee Formulation
- $425 Base; $475 Minimum (= cities under 385 pop.)
- Population 1 to 25,000 - $.13 cents per capita
- Population 25,001 – 249,999 - $.14 cents per capita
- Population 250,000 & up - $.13 per capita on first 250,000; $.05 per capita over 250,000
ASSOCIATE MEMBER (Fee $500 annually) JOIN NOW

PARTICIPATING AFFILIATE (Fee $500 annually)
Participating Affiliate status is for any company or professional firm interested in municipal government. Participating Affiliate status is not a membership category and does not have voting privileges at League meetings. They are not eligible for membership on the MML Board of Directors. BEFORE YOU JOIN, please call the League's office (573) 635-9134, option #6 to speak with Meghan Vossen about the application process. After speaking with Meghan, please do one of the following to join:
1) If you have spoken with Meghan and do not have a login, JOIN HERE.
2) Download Application, complete it and email it to Meghan Vossen at [email protected]. When approved, you will be invoiced.
