Seven Missouri Cities Honored With 2015 MML Innovation Award
Cities Recognized for Innovative Ways to Solve Municipal Challenges
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Seven Missouri cities were honored at the Missouri Municipal League’s Annual Conference in September for their innovative projects that will improve their communities.
The 2015 MML Innovation Award Winners are:
Small-sized City (tie):
City of LaPlata: City Park Project
City of North Kansas City: Solar Panel Installation Project
Medium-sized City (tie):
City of Fulton: Animal Shelter Initiative
City of Mexico: Community Garden
City of Blue Springs: “How To Open A Business”
City of Nixa: Crime-free Multi-housing Training
City of Bellefontaine Neighbors: Youth Life Skills Recreation Program
The MML Innovation Awards program showcases municipal projects that demonstrate new approaches for solving municipal challenges. The awards recognize and celebrate successful programs, spotlighting those that could benefit other communities.
