Riverside Mayor Kathy Rose Elected President of
Missouri Municipal League
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Municipal League elected City of Riverside Mayor Kathy Rose as President at MML’s annual conference Sept. 13 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mayor Rose was elected to the League’s Board of Directors in 2013 after filling an unexpired term for one year. She serves on the Resolutions Committee for the League. Mayor Rose has also earned the prestigious designation of Certified Municipal Official from the Missouri Municipal League's Municipal Governance Institute.
Rose has served as Mayor of Riverside since 2006. Now in her sixth term of office, she has championed the transformation of Riverside into a smart and sustainable community. Mayor Rose has served on many boards throughout the Kansas City region and Missouri, including: Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, the Missouri Municipal League, Mid-America Regional Coalition’s Solid Waste Management District, and the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce.
