Hazelwood Mayor Matt Robinson Elected Vice President of
Missouri Municipal League
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Municipal League elected City of Hazelwood Mayor Matt Robinson as Vice President at MML’s annual conference Sept. 13 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mayor Robinson was elected to the Hazelwood City Council to represent Ward 1 in 1994 and served in that capacity for 15 years until he was elected Mayor in 2009.
As a Councilman, Robinson served on numerous committees such as the Hazelwood Harvestfest Committee, National League of Cities Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Policy and Advocacy Committee, and both the Elm Grove and Missouri Bottom TIF Commissions. He was also appointed to leadership roles with the North County Athletic Social Club, Florissant Valley Jaycees, and St. Martin de Porres Men’s Club.
During his three terms as the City of Hazelwood’s Mayor, he has continued to serve on the NLC committee as well as on the Executive Board of the St. Louis County Municipal League and on the Board of North County Incorporated.
Robinson was elected to the MML Board of Directors in 2013. He has served as Chair and as a member of the MML Resolutions Committee.
