MOCCFOA SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE ...The Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association will award up to 26 scholarships for 2011-2012: Ten (10) for the Spring Institute at the Lodge of the Four Seasons (March 2012), ten (10) for the New Clerks Conference at the Lodge of the Four Seasons (March 2012) and two (2) each for the three (3) Regional Conferences (Republic -October 25 & 26, 2011; Raymore - October 27 & 28, 2011; Kirkwood - November 1 & 2, 2011). Applicants must be a member in good standingwith the MoCCFOA and must be a city clerk, city treasurer, city collector, finance officer or hold a similar position. The scholarships encompass the registration fee, one-half of the single/double occupancy hotel room and $40 for mileage and other necessary expenses. Applications are available from any Scholarship Committee member and are available on the MoCCFOA's Website at http://www.moccfoa.org/. Applications for the Regional Conferences must be received by the scholarship chairman no later than August 31, 2011, and by October 31, 2011, for the New Clerks Conference and Spring Institute.
